Design Technology Teacher

Éire Ed is recruiting a Design Technology Teacher for an exciting 2027 opportunity at a school in regional coastal Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on educator looking to combine a rewarding teaching role with the lifestyle that comes with living and working on the Queensland coast.

The successful teacher will deliver engaging Design Technology and Workshop Engineering programmes, supporting students to develop practical skills, creativity, problem-solving ability, and confidence in the workshop. The role would particularly suit a teacher with experience in areas such as woodwork, construction, engineering, materials technology, or other practical technology subjects.

The school is looking for someone who can become a committed member of the school community for the full 2027 academic year. Candidates pursuing an Australian 189 or 190 skilled visa will therefore be particularly well suited to the position. However, strong Design Technology teachers travelling to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa may also be considered.
