We support teachers exploring opportunities in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Ireland, and the UK. Each location offers unique professional and lifestyle experiences, whether you’re looking for career growth, international experience, or a fresh start in a new environment.
We work with primary and secondary schools across Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, Ireland, and the UK. Whether you’re newly qualified, experienced, exploring opportunities abroad, or returning home, we’ll help you find a role that’s the right fit for your goals and experience.
Not always. Some schools welcome early-career teachers, while others look for more classroom experience. Once we learn more about your background, goals, and preferred location, we’ll help guide you towards opportunities that are the right fit.
Absolutely! We often support friends, teaching couples, and groups of teachers looking to relocate together - whether that’s in the same region, city, or sometimes even the same school.
Yes. We’ll guide you through the visa and relocation process for each country, help you understand the requirements, and connect you with trusted professionals or resources where needed.
Some countries and schools offer relocation support to help with flights, accommodation, and setup costs. For example, eligible teachers in New Zealand may receive relocation assistance of up to $10,000 NZD, while some partner schools in Australia and Canada and even here in Ireland offer accommodation or additional support packages. We’ll always guide you through any support available to you.
We’ve been through both the move abroad and the move home ourselves, so we understand the opportunities and challenges that can come with each stage of the journey. From housing advice and banking to settling into a new community, we’ll make sure you feel supported every step of the way.
Teaching overseas can be an incredibly rewarding personal and professional experience. Alongside exploring a new country and culture, many teachers benefit from strong school communities, a greater focus on wellbeing, improved work–life balance, and opportunities for career growth. It’s also a chance to build confidence, gain international experience, and meet people from all over the world.
Definitely. We’ll check in regularly to make sure you’re settling in well, and you’ll always have a direct line to our team if you need advice or support. Where possible, we also love catching up in person for a coffee or checking in over a video call - whether you’re abroad or back home.
Yes! We’ve built a growing community of Éire Ed teachers around the world who are always happy to share their experiences, advice, and recommendations. We can also help connect you with teachers who’ve already made a similar move themselves.
Returning home after teaching abroad can be a big transition, both personally and professionally. Many teachers come home with greater confidence, valuable international experience, and a fresh perspective on education. At Éire Ed, we support teachers through that move too - whether it’s navigating applications, reconnecting with schools in Ireland, or figuring out their next career step.
