Meet Éanna
Éanna is our Managing Director and the first point of contact for teachers considering a move abroad.
In 2022, he took the leap - leaving Galway, Ireland to pursue a teaching career in New Zealand. Like many of the teachers he now works with, he was seeking adventure, growth, and a fresh start in a beautiful country. That move changed his life, and today he’s proud to call New Zealand his second home as a Permanent Resident.
Now based back in Ireland, Éanna focuses on helping talented teachers discover the same opportunities. He understands first-hand the challenges teachers may face - from securing the right role to navigating visas and settling into a new community. That’s why Éire Ed exists: to guide and support teachers through every step of their journey.

Meet Seán
Seán is our Director of Partnerships. Originally from Wexford, Ireland, he moved to New Zealand five years ago to teach Technology & Design. Since then, he has risen to Head of Department and now proudly holds Permanent Residency. His own journey abroad gives him a unique understanding of what it takes to thrive as an international teacher.
At Éire Ed, Seán leads our partnerships with schools across New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. He works closely with principals and leadership teams to gain a deep understanding of each school’s culture, values, and needs - ensuring the right teachers are placed in the right environments.
With Seán’s expertise and personal approach, both teachers and schools benefit from a seamless transition and a strong foundation for long-term success.
