Meet Éanna

Éanna is the Founder of Éire Ed and works closely with teachers navigating career opportunities, transitions, and next steps within education.
In 2022, he took the leap from Galway, Ireland to pursue a teaching opportunity in New Zealand. Like many teachers Éanna now supports, he was looking for professional growth, new experiences, and a fresh perspective within education. Over time, New Zealand became a second home, and he now proudly holds Permanent Residency.
Now based back in Ireland, Éanna focuses on supporting teachers through every stage of their journey - from exploring international opportunities to returning home and finding meaningful next steps in education. Having experienced these transitions himself, he understands the challenges teachers can face and aims to provide practical guidance, support, and community throughout the process.
Whether you’re considering teaching abroad, returning home, or planning your next move in education, Éanna would love to support you on your journey.

Meet Seán
Seán is our Director of Partnerships. Originally from Wexford, Ireland, he moved to New Zealand five years ago to pursue a teaching career in Technology & Design. Before joining the team at Éire Ed, he progressed into a Head of Department role and secured Permanent Residency. His own experience abroad gives him first-hand insight into the opportunities and challenges teachers can face when building an international career.
At Éire Ed, Seán leads our partnerships with schools abroad. He works closely with school leaders to understand each school’s culture, values, and staffing needs - helping connect schools with teachers who are the right fit both professionally and personally.
With Seán’s experience and personal approach, both teachers and schools benefit from strong long-term relationships built on trust, support, and shared values.
Whether you’re a teacher exploring new opportunities or a school looking to grow your team, Seán would be delighted to connect and discuss how Éire Ed can help.
